About Us

Pario in the UK

As the foremost independent providers of specialist PFI management and consultancy services in the UK and Ireland, we are dedicated to providing our clients with unsurpassed levels of service.

This independence means we provide impartial solutions, free from outside influence, that are ultimately in the best interests of the project which benefits all stakeholders, be they investors, lenders, sub-contractors or the public sector commissioners.  In our experience, the stakeholders appreciate and highly value our approach and the independent nature of our appointment.

Although Pario was originally established to provide specialist management services exclusively to PFI projects, our work ethic, collaborative approach and reputation for getting results has allowed us to use our expertise and provide bespoke consultancy services to non-PFI companies and projects. Our full range of services include:

As more and more projects are sold through Secondary markets, the benefit of an independent SPV manager that can move with the project cannot be over-estimated. It becomes an important asset for the seller as it offers reassurance to the buyer – we know the project, we know the history and we know the people involved. There is no painful and often costly handover process, just a seamless continuation of the project management.

Established in 2006, Pario Limited is a joint venture between iPFI Limited and Artelia and was created to serve the burgeoning market for out-sourced SPV management services.

iPFI’s founders, Richard Clancy and Darren Barclay have been involved in PFI since 1999 and have a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Both hold critical roles in Pario with Richard assuming the role of Managing Director and Darren leading the finance arm of Pario as Finance Director.

Artelia are one of Europe’s leading engineering firms, offering engineering, project management and consultancy services to both the public and private sectors. Artelia has a turnover in excess of €300m per annum and over 2600 staff located in almost 100 locations across the globe.

This strategic partnership enables Pario to offer clients an even greater range of consultancy services. Pario currently have 34 staff and thanks to our network of 7 offices across the UK and Ireland, we endeavour to ensure that our project managers are always close at hand.
